LOCAL LAND SERVICES FIELD TRIP TO BANYULA
We recently welcomed the North Coast Local Land Services (LLS) Natural Resource Management team to Banyula exploring conservation in action. The team shared how inspired they were by the work happening here, saying the property
provided examples of outstanding biodiversity conservation in action.
Their visit touched on nest boxes, cool fire practices, biodiverse farm dams, erosion control, bush regeneration, enclosure fencing and threatened species management, all of which connect closely to the projects LLS staff deliver across the region.
They also recognised the wave of collaboration forming around Banyula, driven by passionate people and an inclusive approach to land care.
We thank the LLS team for wanting to visit Banyula and for the services they provide to our local land holders especially in pest management for protecting out native species.
